The DAINME-SME project aims to improve the circular economy of the dairy SMEs in the Mediterranean countries, by introducing innovative technologies and developing new valuable dairy products.
Core activities
DAINME-SME aims to create new strategies to improve the dairy value chain by promoting the use of traditional by-products in high-value and nutritional products and using new, scalable and reliable technologies.
Major outputs
The expected outcomes of the project are:
- valorization of dairy by-products;
- processing the use of whey into feed or food;
- valorization of milk and whey from goat and sheep milk;
- validation of new food processing technologies.
