On 3 December 2025, the University of Copenhagen will host the Transformative Governance for Food Systems and Biodiversity Conference.
Held within the framework of the Danish EU Presidency Conference, the event is organised by the University of Copenhagen, CLEVERFOOD, IPBES Denmark, and the Ministry of Green Transition.
The conference will focus on translating research and innovation into evidence-based, multi-level governance that drives a just green transition — strengthening Europe’s resilience, competitiveness, and commitment to its climate and biodiversity goals.
Through keynotes, policy dialogues, and interactive workshops, participants will:
- Design new governance models and align policies across governance levels;
- Turn strategy into action to bridge the gap between policy and implementation;
- Advance ESG and finance approaches that scale sustainable, fair, and resilient food systems.
